For long-distance work, Actros relies on highly economical, second-generation Euro 6 engines – the OM470 and OM471 – covering four displacement categories, from 7.7L to 15.6L, with power output ratings from 238hp (175kW) to 625hp (460kW), and up to 3000Nm maximum torque.

Actros cabs epitomise the modern workplace for today’s long-haul driver. Every aspect of the design and layout is geared towards driver safety, ease of operation, and overall comfort.

There are 11 cab variants in two widths, with five roof shapes (CompactSpace, ClassicSpace, StreamSpace, BigSpace and GigaSpace) and three engine tunnel variants (320mm, 170mm, level floor).

The wide, rigid frame; full air suspension; innovative rear axle guide; and direct, sensitive steering system combine for an outstandingly capable, safe and relaxed driving experience.

Distribution. Ultimate handling.

Actros delivers outstanding handling for an outstanding driving experience. The innovative rear axle guide plays a key role here. Compared to a conventional wishbone design, the connection points of the two trailing arms are positioned further outwards, resulting in optimum transverse stability with little need for corrective steering and excellent understeer/oversteer characteristics.

Ergonomically designed cabs put the driver’s needs to the forefront, featuring mid cabs for day-to-day operation or sleeper cabs if required.

ClassicSpace L-Cab. The comfortable 2300mm-wide cab offers the driver an ergonomic, comfortable workplace and is ideally designed to meet the requirements of regional and interstate transport.

ClassicSpace M-Cab. The 2300mm-wide cab with 320mm engine tunnel and 2000mm length is suitable for almost every operation. Plenty of storage behind the seats and an option for a fold down bunk if needed.
