FNZ hosts Women of EV

Keith Andrews and Fuso New Zealand (FNZ) were proud to jointly host New Zealand’s Women of EVs group in Auckland recently.

A strong turnout attended to share ideas and insights and to test drive the FUSO eCanter

“We had three eCanters available to test drive throughout the day. There were a few nerves because many attendees hadn’t driven a truck before, but once people jumped into the hot seat there were lots of smiles and a tremendous sense of excitement about the potential of electric trucks!” said Keith Andrews Group Manager Sales & Customer Experience Kathy Schluter.

Women of EVs was established in 2013 to promote and inject new ideas into the EV sector towards the shared goal of decarbonisation in transport.

Schluter added it was an honour to host the group.

FNZ and Keith Andrews are jointly committed to supporting advocates for change, and it was wonderful to host so many inspirational individuals.

“We are lucky to have an array of passionate, engaged and forward-thinking talent across our teams, and we are actively looking for fresh ideas and new partnerships to ensure the health and success of the transport industry in Aotearoa New Zealand. I look forward to hosting the group again!”

Keith Andrews and FNZ were represented by Kathy Schluter, Alisha Francis, Sheridan Davies, Nikita McGlade and Caitlin McKenzie – as well as FNZ Product Planning Manager Ian Porter.
