Scott Bliss

You could say Scott lives his name – he follows his ‘Bliss’!  Sales and trucks are a passion so working as a Sales Executive for Keith Andrews Trucks is a role he thrives on.

Scott has an impressive 35 years experience in the automotive industry from sales roles in spare parts, batteries and the tyre industry to sales and management in the truck industry.  His biggest ‘buzz’ is getting repeat orders from customers as he believes you’ve done your job properly when you get repeat orders.

Motivation is definitely not an issue for Scott who is passionate about trucks, particularly FUSO, which he’s been selling for 15 years.  He believes FUSO has the best value for money trucks on the market and has a proven track record with repeat business and product loyalty.  He’s also proud to have watched FUSO trucks play a key role in the development of businesses throughout New Zealand – they’re the backbone of our economy.

Scott believes Keith Andrews Trucks offers clients an expansive parts back-up and huge in-house technical knowledge, which makes his job as a sales executive easy.

In the past a multi-sport enthusiast, he enjoys challenges, which includes increasing his client base – cold-calling is easy compared to being upside-down in a kayak on a frozen river with no air!

He’s an avid collector of 1/87 scale (HO) model trucks and American diesel locomotives – up to 6000hp and spends his down time reforesting the understorey in a grove of 150 year old kauri trees he owns on Auckland’s North Shore, with his wife of 31 years.

Kurtis Andrews

Kurtis Andrews is General Manager of Keith Andrews Trucks in Auckland. He first worked for the company in 1999, starting out in vehicle preparation and driver roles, then as a sales cadet before moving into Auckland Regional Sales.

Kurtis has always had an affinity for the Mitsubishi brand and is enjoying the challenge of the GM role. He loves the complex process involved in putting together high level sales and takes a keen interest in ensuring quality control in all areas of the business.

Running a truck dealership may be in his blood, but Kurtis takes this to a new level with his passion and drive to turn Keith Andrews Trucks in Auckland into a top performing truck sales and service company.

“My phone is always on – I’m happy to hear from customers 24/7. Whether it’s something good or bad, I’d like to hear it first so that I can resolve issues promptly or personally pass on any praise to those team members who have earned it.”

Herb Dalton

Herb Dalton is vehicle coordinator at the Auckland showroom, which means he checks the orders and organises delivery of new trucks to customers, ensuring everything is as it should be.

Herb has been with the Keith Andrews Trucks team since June 2011 and has a background in Mitsubishi Truck sales and general Truck and Trailer sales. Herb enjoys sharing the moment when a new truck is presented to the customer in mint condition – all shiny and waiting for that first journey on the road.

Back in the 1970s and 80s when he drove for/owned a trucking firm Herb used to buy all his new trucks from Maurice Bennett, “but that was a long, long time ago.” Once upon a time, Herb was also a locomotive engine driver, and that’s no fairy story. Richard Watson

Richard Watson works as a Dayshift Foreman for the Service Division, having made the transition from the existing Mitsubishi service centre on Roscommon Road when it became Keith Andrews Trucks Auckland.

Richard has worked as leading hand on the nightshift prior to becoming Dayshift Foreman. Richard’s diagnostic skills make him an expert in fault finding – a valuable asset to the smooth operation of the Auckland Services Division.

His experience includes 10 years in the industry as well as the challenge of managing three kids – sometimes coming into work feels like a rest. Richard’s interests lie in motorsports. He is into Karting and follows the V8s and Formula 1 racing with a passion.

Kurt Dowson

Kurt Dowson joins the Auckland team as Parts Manager, transferring from Keith Andrews Trucks in Whangarei. Kurt has been with the company since 2007 where he was Parts Interpreter for four years. He has a passion for anything to do with vehicles, and a keen and accurate eye for assessing rebuild requirements.

Prior to working for Keith Andrews, Kurt spent four years in a range of parts-centred roles for both cars and commercial vehicles.

After completing his Parts and Accessories apprenticeship with Keith Andrews Trucks, Kurt was offered the opportunity to take on the management role for the new Auckland branch’s Parts Division.

Aaron White

Aaron White is the Auckland branch’s Service Advisor. Aaron joined the Auckland Services team in April 2011 when Keith Andrews Trucks became the new owners of the Mitsubishi-owned trucking company.

Aaron is trade certified in heavy equipment and has 15 years experience as a mechanic.

A valuable asset to the Auckland Service Division, Aaron takes his work very seriously and strives to deliver “number one customer service” to Keith Andrews Trucks’ new Auckland service centre clients.

Pravin Chandra

Pravin Chandra is the Nightshift Foreman for the Auckland Services Division, signing on as part of the new Keith Andrews Trucks team in April 2011.

As well as his extensive Fuso product knowledge, Pravin has experience with Caterpillar plant and equipment. Pravin enjoys the mechanical diagnostic aspect of his work and provides good leadership among the Services team.

Pravin loves travelling, which he says is a great way to make new friends from among the many different people he meets.

Darren Shaw

Darren Shaw signed on as Auckland Service Manager for Keith Andrews Trucks in April 2011. Darren originates from the UK where he was a key part of his family’s successful Transport Business in the bus and coach industry.

With over 25 years in the motor trade, Darren has a City Guilds mechanics qualification and extensive experience in delivering customer care.

Outside of work Darren enjoys a range of outdoor activities and loves to travel. Being English it comes as no surprise that he loves football – that’s proper football, mind – what we Kiwis call soccer.

Amanda Cotter

Amanda Cotter is another key member of Keith Andrews Trucks in Auckland as a Truck Sales Engineer.

Amanda holds a Class 5 Drivers Licence and is a fully trained Truck Mounted Crane Operator. She has 17 years of industry experience, which she gained in the UK, along with two and a half years of sales experience in the transport industry.

Amanda likes when her role involves rural distribution – especially horse transport – as she has a keen interest in all things equestrian. She even built her own horse box back in the UK.

Steve Willcocks

Steve Willcocks joins Keith Andrews Trucks in Auckland as Sales Executive following several years in the industry.

Steve’s attention to detail means he takes great pleasure in turning out a good looking truck for customers. Steve has over 17 years of experience in Automotive Sales, but is also a qualified marine engineer and former boat builder.

Relocating to Auckland has not got in the way of Steve’s love for a spot of fishing, although he has to find some new favourite spots on the Manukau and Waitemata Harbours now.

Anne Sneddon

Anne Sneddon is the Auckland Sales Administrator for Keith Andrews Trucks. Anne spent four years with another trucking firm, starting on reception before moving to her current role.

Much of what Anne does is behind the scenes, handling the scheduling for truck sales from the sales team’s orders. This involves taking helping to make sure each new truck arrives with all the right specifications and fit outs requested by the customer.

For Anne, the best thing about her job is seeing a happy customer driving away in their brand new truck, knowing that everything is exactly as they ordered it.
